Alle vertrouwde elementen uit een tour waren aanwezig, aangevuld met nieuwe onderdelen: de F&B die voor overheerlijke maaltijden zorgde, de kledingcommissie met mooie nieuwe truien en shirts, de awardscommissie met jaloersmakende awards (de duck-award was erg in trek), de high tea / breakfast (nieuw maar zeker voor herhaling vatbaar), de glow-in-the-dark-dancing (georganiseerd door de last minute verrassing:

Elke die helemaal uit Aussie-land was overgekomen), de entertainmentcommissie die de bonte avond in goede banen leidde. En last but not least; de tourcommissie (Gerritje en Daphne) die een geweldige en onvergetelijke tour heeft geregeld. Dank aan iedereen!!

Er werd natuurlijk ook gecricket, al gooide het weer wel wat roet in het eten. Twee wedstrijden werden helaas afgelast. De derde wedstrijd (30 overs) tegen Mersham cricket sport club kon gelukkig doorgaan. Wij boden goed tegenstand maar uiteindelijk werd de wedstrijd gewonnen door Mersham. De BBQ en het bier daarna smaakten er niet minder om.

All the familiar elements of a tour were present, supplemented with new features: the F&B team provided delicious meals, the clothing committee with beautiful new sweaters and shirts, the awards committee with enviable awards (the duck award was very popular), the high tea/breakfast (new but definitely worth repeating), the glow-in-the-dark dancing (organized by a last-minute surprise:

Elke who came all the way from Australia), the entertainment committee that ran the social evening smoothly. And last but not least, the tour committee (Gerritje and Daphne) who arranged a fantastic and unforgettable tour. Thanks to everyone!!

Of course, cricket was played too, although the weather did cause some disruption. Two matches were unfortunately canceled. The third match (30 overs) against Mersham Cricket Sport Club was fortunately able to go ahead. We put up a good fight but ultimately the match was won by Mersham. The BBQ and the beer afterwards tasted no less good because of that.
